We had a bit of a problem with the dishwasher and Benson..well more of an inconvenience that an issue as such When he was a pup, it was fine. Open the dishwasher and pup climbs excitedly inside. OK. Now at 5 months he is turning into a bit of a lump, and I really didn't like trying to haul him out each time. So we left a few fish treats on top of the work top and when needing to open dishwasher would pop him into "sit stay" whilst sorting out the dishes. Fine. Sorted! Now if I go anywhere near the dishwasher he skids to a halt in front, plonks his bot down and waits for his treat! ;D ;D Clever pup!
Re: And we thought we were being clever! Love it ! Riley has a similar approach at the tills of shops based on treats behind the counter at the vets and one of our garden centres in Beaulieu. Amazing how well behaved he looks
