I actually like cold winter weather, and we have that at the moment - with snow too! But what I really hate about winter is the lack of daylight. Especially those of us who are 'working' dog owners, for months it seems I do the morning dog walk in semi-daylight, and it is definitely pitch black by the time I get home after work. This makes keeping up with the training really difficult, and it's just not so much fun. I feel I cant go into the woods, either I trip over or I'm afraid we'll run into a wild boar, so we end up walking around the roads... Great for lead walk, but I miss those happy-go-lucky morning and evening walks in the woods...

Ah well, roll on spring! And at least the days are getting lighter now, about a minute a day... :D

Lovely frosty walks today which is much better then the wet muddy ones. Summer will be here soon and you can make up for all those dark walks with lots of beautiful sunny ones. David does the 0630 walk and I do the daytime ones and training in between work and School runs. David actually quite enjoys the dark walk as it's lovely and peaceful just him and Charlie. Chin up!! :) Helen x
