I just thought I would share my little story with you.

A few weeks ago I was walking with Hattie on a footpath through a wooded area that divides two farmers land, in the gales a few trees have fallen across the path so it's now quite an obstacle course. I was climbing over the tree and I caught my boot fell and let out a bit of an "ahhh", I didn't hurt myself, thankfully. Hattie was about 30 meters infront, she heard me and came bombing back jumped straight over the tree and sat with me until I caught my breath. When I got up she was nudging me to my feet and refused to jump over the tree until I had eventually climbed over then she followed me and stuck right by my side licking my hand and looking at me - aw bless my girl :* xx

What have your dogs done to show you they care? :)

What a thoughtful girl Hattie is, I have never had an opportunity to test my dogs yet.

    Goog girl Hattie!

I'm not at all sure Charlie "cares". I think he pays attention if something is different, and if I was giving out signs of distress it might very well alarm or distress him, prompting him to stay close to me or be a bit more clingy. I'm not convinced he has the capacity to worry about my well being though. But he is still developing, so who knows?

What a super dog you have. That's amazing that she showed so much awareness. Lady can be sensitive to what's going on but the reaction depends on the circumstances. When a drainpipe fell on my head and there was blood everywhere she was really concerned and kept licking me. When I got attacked by a stallion she was still concerned but showed it by sitting neatly about 300 yds away! ;D

Thats really lovely Helen , bless Hattie :) :)
I think my two care , Sam mainly because he is bonded to me, seems to sense my moods and will comfort me with a head on my knee if I am feeling low , bless . Millie I think because she sees me as the bringer of all things good in her new life , I only have to look at her for her tail to wag off the scale , very touching when they show love isnt it ? xxx

    That's so cute Helen :)

I think Harley cares....when I came out of hospital she would come over and snuggle up to sleep, but stayed away when playing with hubby. Also, whenever I moved to get up and I yelped she would run over and follow me, nudging my hand wherever I went for about 5 mins after :) she still does this whenever I am in pain ;)
