Re: Thane Country Show today The labs in the demonstration were amazing...especially "ditto" who demonstrated blind retrieves at 70 yards...she was amazing, handled by I think Jackie Makepeace? Might have the name wrong... It was interesting to see how beautiful, fit and lean these labs were...sadly we observed as we wandered around at least 50% of the labs we saw were overweight, some grossly so...

Re: Thane Country Show today Not to be picky, but it is ThaMe not Thane. I live here and can hear it as I garden. Thame Show is on Thursday 18th September, is much the same though more of a traditional agricultural show. For the foodies among you Thame Food Festival is on Saturday 27th September. It was very successful last year. The High Street was pedestrianised. There were bands playing. Demos. Stalls etc altogether a fun atmosphere. I walked uptown just to have a good hate ( it is hugely inconvenient for the residents) but was won over by the lovely atmosphere. You could bring your Labs ( as long as they don't pinch the sausages off the stalls) Glad you are enjoying the day. It is warming up now
