Re: Injury How's her injury now Naya? Oh and where did you buy the blow up collar? Think I'm going to need one when Penny gets speyed in June and I can't imagine her taking to the traditional buster collar.
Re: Injury Harley was checked by the vets tonight. She was really pleased with the wound healing Harley doesn't wear her collar much, only at bedtime and when I'm at work and my daughter is studying so can't give her 100% attention......she seems to get on well with this. We say uh uh if she sniffs or goes to lick it and this has worked 100% of the time so far . Her staples will come out a week tomorrow as long as it continues to heal She also got weighed tonight....23.3kg vast improvement and looks much healthier than a few months ago I got the blow up collar at pets at home in Filton.....the vets section not the main store. It cost about £11. You can get them online but at about £20-£30.
Re: Injury Glad the wound is healing and she is generally better and healthier in herself ,she is gorgeous and she's always a puppy in my mind....I have a reality check when I see a photos of her and she's getting all grown up x

Thanks for the info on the collar, I'll keep my eye out next time I'm in Pets at Home.
Re: Injury Penny Molly didn't have a collar when she was spayed last week. There were no exterior stitches so I think they seal the wound with medical super glue. Not once did she try to lick her wound. She had her post OP check today, seven days after the event, and it is a neat scar. Well as best as we could see as she tried to bounce all over the vet.
