Re: NEW: Why do Labradors (and other dogs!) eat grass My two Cavaliers were lawn mowers! Tatze eats grass now and again - but pretty half heartedly.
Re: NEW: Why do Labradors (and other dogs!) eat grass Dex does now and again...it's always the fresh, green young shoots,it's never made him sick,he's never had worms ,he just seems to like it every so often ....it just looks wrong though,a dog eating grass! X
Re: NEW: Why do Labradors (and other dogs!) eat grass The DivaDog is a committed grass gobbler; absolutely fanatical about grazing at any opportunity. I put it down to her years in a cage when she had no access to any
Re: NEW: Why do Labradors (and other dogs!) eat grass Two grass eaters here, but I was once told that you shouldn't let your dog eat grass incase there are snails/slugs on it and they could contract lung worm ???

Re: NEW: Why do Labradors (and other dogs!) eat grass My older lab loves grazing on grass and our puppy just copies what she does. I don't mind the munching, it's the problem they have going to the toilet the day after when grass is stuck in their bottoms! YUK!
Re: NEW: Why do Labradors (and other dogs!) eat grass Looks like little Maisie is a lawn mower as well!

Re: NEW: Why do Labradors (and other dogs!) eat grass With Lola I think it is a cheeky/ giddy thing. If she gets something she shouldn't like socks or my poor oven gloves she'll run to her 'silly spot' in the garden. When I tell her to drop it she looks at me with the mischievous little grin that she has and picks up mouthfuls of grass and bounces around in circles :crazy dog lol
