Bess couldn't persuade us to play ball with her this morning so she made up her own game. She carried her ball up to the top of the stairs and then carefully nudged it over the edge and watched it bounce to the bottom then went to get it and back up the stairs again. The game was repeated for several minutes until she was ready for a snooze. Alice
