Oh dear - having seemed really well yesterday evening, this morning Molly has diarrhoea again, has refused food and is once more looking sorry for herself. (This will teach me not to claim she has an iron constitution!)

Is she on her normal food? We went through a spate of poorly tummy and had injections for vomiting but also got given special wet food that's gentle on tummies, we split it into 3 small meals (rather than the usual 2). I think it took me two weeks to get Riley back onto kibble and I gave him some yoghurt too for a bit.

Thanks for suggestion Barbara. Molly was no longer on kibble but fed a mixture of raw, home-cooked and scraps. She's only eaten a little bit of cooked chicken over the last few days - has refused everything else, including scrambled egg. However she is drinking plenty of water and today seems much brighter again - had the energy for a walk and play. I have to say I think she was a bit overweight, so if she's lost a bit that won't matter. Today she's got a gungy eye too. Of course it's the bank holiday weekend, but if she's not completely well by Tuesday I think we'll have to go back to the vet.

Has she kept what she has eaten down ok?

This really sounds similar to something Charlie had around Christmas. We needed antibiotics to clear it, and he took about 10 days I'd say to be back to normal.

Hope she continues to brighten. At least she wants a walk, that's a good sign.

Yes no more sickness since the vet gave her an injection, but has had diarrhoea every day (not uncontrollable since the first day but very watery - sorry folks!) She's sleeping a lot more than usual but as she is eating small amounts and drinking plenty I'm trying not to worry. I wonder if she does need antibiotics though.
