I don't normally share web articles - but this one really made me think of the worst and the best in people. http://sfglobe.com/?id=336
Re: Amazing story You wouldn't believe that was the same dog. to be honest, that first picture of him he looked like he had been dead for weeks. Be prepared to cry over this one guys.
Re: Amazing story Ive read quite a few storyies like this now, its wonderful that he was rescued and cared for, and amazing he survived. But just wish there werent these stories and all this cruelty. Maggie xx
Re: Amazing story OMG how can anyone be so cruel? I just don't understand why the owners don't just take him to a dog shelter if they can no longer or don't want to care for him anymore. It makes my blood boil!
Re: Amazing story And this dog has forgiven and is still prepared to love and trust members of the human race after what its lowest examples did to him. What a saint.
Re: Amazing story OMG how can anyone do this to an animal, it really upsets me. I used to work at the vet and we had a dog nearly as bad as that brought in, sadly the dog died and it haunts me to this day. Thank heaven it was different for Patrick.
Re: Amazing story I knew this would upset me. Usually don't read them, should have known better. Cuddling my boy very tight now.
Re: Amazing story Shouldn't have looked :'( :'(, perhaps an alert to a distressing story should be added.
Re: Amazing story - WARNING contains distressing images I just don't understand why anyone, ever, could do this. Amazing he survived.

Re: Amazing story - WARNING contains distressing images I've read this story before. Sadly I've seen dogs in almost this state in real life before. It's so rewarding bringing them back to full health though and you can literally see them improving day after day.
