The dogs had a lovely walk this morning , much swimming and retrieving involved ;D Once home and towelled off , both went back to bed for a nap as usual , then suddenly, eyes tight closed, Sam gave out the loudest howl I have ever heard Millie shot out of her bed , rushing over in concern at her big pal who then, still fast asleep, began to moan gently for a few moments , then one big sigh and the dream was over
Re: What was he dreaming of ? Probably about the rabbit that got away Meg does this swimming action thing when she's out to the world. It really is as if she's swimming, perhaps she's dreaming she's at hydro.
Re: What was he dreaming of ? Ahhh I love all the noises they make, when asleep, Otis sticks his tongue out and does licky noises, Im sure he is eating something nice in his dream, its cute. xx
Re: What was he dreaming of ? Poor Sam, I hope he wasn't having a dreadful nightmare! When you think about it, it cannot have been a nightmare if nothing nasty has happened in his life, he cannot read about monsters, BUT he may have seen one on TV Dear Millie being concerned about him.
Re: What was he dreaming of ? ;D Poor Sam, I hope he was howling in delight at the mental image of a huge pile of sausages.
Re: What was he dreaming of ? I get a bit freaked out when Dexter dreams, because in my imagining ( never having seen one) it can look a bit like a fit!he starts doing twitching running and can make little whinnies..If he's by me I put my hand on him ,,not to wake him but just to bring him round a bit ....he's probably gutted when I bring him round just as he was about to catch the rabbit!
Re: What was he dreaming of ? Why do they whinnie in their sleep when they don't in day to day activities?.... :
Re: What was he dreaming of ? The only time I ever got seriously bitten was when I woke a dog up from a dream! She was obviously having a bad dream, and I gently stroked her to wake her - she whipped around in her sleep and bit me really hard!!! Now I am always very careful with any dog that is dreaming. You never know...
Re: What was he dreaming of ? I have found myself wondering the same thing! Benson makes these cute "wuffs" when he is dreaming, I presume he is barking in his dreams, then I wonder, he rarely barks, and never on a walk, so what is he doing to bark in his sleep?
