Yes for her age she is on the little side! But we were commended at the vets for her nice tuck up and waist and they said she was the perfect weight so she's just going to be a small lab, I think, maybe 50 lbs. Her mom is about 55 lbs and she was one of the smaller puppies in the litter.

However, she's had a bit of a growth spurt over the past week and so I can't stop telling people she is a chunky monkey!! She has been so small for so long that the added few pounds just make her feel so hefty and she got taller. I can't believe she is going to be a full grown lab soon :(

Maisie weighs 20kg at 12 months old. Really interesting to look back over the last 10 months and see the changes in weight in all our pups. :)

I've always had GIANT dogs in my life - great danes, Anatolians, and many large mutts...as in 85+ pounds....My current Anatolian is over 150 pounds (we can't lift her...lol), and our last Lab type mix was 85 pounds....so my Bella seems SOOO small at 45 pounds...our vet thinks she'll be about 60 pounds at maturity.

I must weigh Shadow again and see how he's getting on weight-wise. He's looking a lot less ribby these days!

I had to put Willow on a teeny diet after her op. The vest she was wearing hid the fact she got a bit podgy from lack of exercise over those two weeks. Oops!

Awww bless her but we all need comfort food in times like these, I can't believe Bella will soon be going for her spay too as still she's seems so little :-[ ... Was willow 6/7 months? My friend got his bulldog 'period pants' but I think I'm going to get Bella in before ::)

She was six and a half months. I needed to get her in before her season, firstly because I believed that was the best thing to do, on balance of the (lack of) evidence out there, but largely because it was the right thing for our situation - I couldn't risk having her in season with her brother still entire, and I don't want to have him neutered just yet, if at all, because he's a small and sensitive soul and early neutering won't help either of those traits!

My Bella was 4 1/2 months when we got her spayed. Like Fiona says theirs not a lot of real evidence about timing for the girls...so we just got it done early to mark it off the list and move on to the next thing. ;) I'm not sure how the pricing structure works overseas...but here in the us they do it based on weight of the dog...under 40 pounds is about $20 cheaper than the next bracket up.

Just had Bouncer weighed at the Vets (nothing wrong I just like to get him checked out now & again).

Aged 8 months 7 days or 35 weeks 5 days he weighed in at 24.9kg. No wonder I have a job lifting him up now, thats just shy of 4 stone.

Vet says he is very happy with his weight & body shape. :)

Tess was just under 6kg when she went to the vet at 8 weeks and we just had her second lot of injections yesterday at 11 weeks and was almost 10kg!
