I can't believe we've had Murphy in our family for 11 weeks. Everyday is an adventure, sometimes good and sometimes not so good, but he is a wee smasher and we have been really lucky to get such a great wee pup. Things are settling down, practically no mouthing, housetrained, no problems in his crate, loves his walks, has basic recall, so hang in there all you brand new puppy owners. I didn't believe it at the time, but things do truly calm down (or maybe we just get use to the chaos!!!!!!) Next hurdle :-\
Re: Murphy at 18 weeks old Great picture. Was there a mouse? Or is he just doing some preparatory work for perfecting his counter surf? Really glad to hear things are going well....it does really feel like nothing goes right at the beginning, and the temptation to feel "what have we done!?" is pretty acute! Well done.
Re: Murphy at 18 weeks old Murthy is so like our pup Nelson. Just back from a walk on the local green where OH threw the ball for him and he kept coming back. First time off lead in a public place. No other people or dogs around though! Nelson also climbed onto our picnic bench the other day....think he will sleep well tonight.
Re: Murphy at 18 weeks old Oh Murphy!your face! ;D Looking like its the most normal thing in the world to be stood up on the garden table on the rain!x
