    Hi all

We come on here asking for help and letting off steam. But lets talk about all the good things are little puppies can do !

So Izzy can sit, lie down and wait very well! Her recall is quite good at times. She is super gentle with the baby. She loves to play games like guess which cup the treat is under. She plays this very well and she also likes hide and seek ! I hide the treats and she seeks them.

She is also good and taking direction from my 6&3 year old too.

Over all she is a good pup. Not very vocal which is good and hoping this will last!

So lets here what your little ones can do!

I am simply in awe that you have the kiddos and a pup! I am doing all I can just to keep up with Edsel...but great idea here. Edsel can sit, walk quite nicely on a lead when not distracted and learning quickly how to handle those, he waits for his food, potty trained like a champ, retrieves like his life depends on it and melts my heart a hundred times a day. Like now, while he is doing his nightly imitation of a foot warmer....

Mine is doing 3 week old puppy things. I expect she is being weaned and is wobbly on her feet. She probably makes snuffly, squeaky puppy noises and is chewing other puppies ears! ;D AND smells yummy!

Tatze isn't a pup but here is ours -

    She can fetch stuff!

If I say 'bring a toy' she does!

If I say 'bring a kong' she does!

If I say 'bring your teddy' she does!

    Morning!

Maisie, now 11 weeks, can sit and stay, wait for her food, do basic recall (yet to try it out in the big wide world!), and is walking nicely on the lead :). We are working on down and leave! ::) She loves my 14 year old who is very calm with her, but nips my 12 year old who she knows is nervous of her, little monkey! ::) Toilet training is going really well and is now starting to ask to go out.

She is very loving and loves her cuddles.

Penny isn't a puppy anymore so for me now it's just the fact that she exists :) love her to peices.

When she was a puppy she won 1st place in best puppy in the first dog show and the first class we ever entered :) my little star!

Nero can do the usual...sit, stay, give paw etc

Also when i say to cross the road he sits on the edge of the pavement and waits until i say 'ready go' and then he crosses and gets a treat when he reaches the other side

He can also open closed doors by pulling the handle - we didnt teach him this he learned himself!

Holly waits for her food until we use her release word.

She fetches my slippers whenever I come home.

In the car she will sit up and look at other drivers when I call "tail gunner"!

Haley is 11.5 weeks and she is sleeping through the night, she can sit and we are working on "wait" which at the moment only works half of the time haha

She can walk on a leash which is nice because I enjoy taking little walks with her, though now I am working on getting her to stop walking all over the place

And she absolutely loves meeting new people, she is so friendly and good with everyone! She met a 10 month old baby for the first time and she was so lovely with him :)

    How lovely.
Lilly is a chilled out 4 year old girl in the house.
she has some tricks, but I love how she will not touch her meals in her bowl on the floor unless we say " on you go" even if we forget to say. Sometimes we wnder off or get invollved in a conversation and realise 5 mins later she is still waiting patiently.
    :)

I was just trying to contribute to this but all I can say is Charlie is an over excited 14 month old who still thinks he is 12 weeks. He is not very well trained at anything! If I get him "not going nuts with excitement" I've had a good day!

But the joy he brings with his funny, loving, clowning around - fantastic.

Jane, I loved the description of what your three and a half week puppy was doing :) You don't happen to be getting the pup from Herefordshire?
