Busy turning the compost and Lady was helping as usual when she got really interested in a wood pile of branches and was trying to get into it. Rats or mice I thought so together we wade in and I dismantle wood pile while Lady keeps her nose on the job! ;D Any way after about 20 mins I get down to the wooden palate that the wood is piled on. Much excitement from Small Black Dog. Get the garden fork and lift the pallet not really expecting to see anything, but SBD is on it quick as a flash ....... ....... one of her hide bones found under the wood pile! ;D Must have been dragged in there by a small creature. Probably a Roland. Back to the compost now.
Re: It's not what you expect under the wood pile! ;D ;D ;D Glad to hear she is feeling better after her recent UTI spate.
Re: It's not what you expect under the wood pile! But you must understand, this is of enormous importance to Lady , its not just any old chew, its Ladys chew ;D

Re: It's not what you expect under the wood pile! ".....and here, beneath this woodpile, the rare and subtly beautiful Hide Bone makes its home. Perfectly camouflaged, it is a shy creature, adapted over millennia to an exclusively nocturnal lifestyle....."
