    Hi Kate, Glad Millie is responding well, Otis itching has just greatly decreased with no treatment, although if it does start up again, I will be using piriton as advised by the vet. As Millie is that bit older, I am sure your vet did the correct thing by prescribing steroids as she can tolerate them, and they will give good releif as they have done.     Thank you , I think if it does start again , I will give Piriton rather than just put her onto steroids , I do worry about the long term effects of using them, glad that Otis is better now x
