I swear Murphy has read about clicker training. He's figured out if he attacks the cat flap with gusto, we come running to let him out. Sure enough, off he goes, does his toilet, the trots back in. Thankfully he's too big to escape out the cat flap.

    So we're effectively conditioned ;)

Well done Murphy - seems fair to me; you might say a 'win win' situation!

Oh yes - they are excellent at training us, are they not!

Tatze says 'huff' by the door when she wants to go out (for anything, not just the toilet!) :)

She has me trained to give her 'pudding' after her meal too! - a chew stick. She comes and looks at me 'till I go and get one for her :)

She shares the couch with me in the evening - if my legs are in the way of 'her' spot she huffs again (so cute!)

Sometimes I think Penny is a bit stupid. If she wants something she just stands and looks at you, and you have to go through a list in your head - food, toilet, attention, playtime, cuddles, bed. Until you figure out which one she hasn't had recently

Cat flap noise is used here too. Ive reinforced it as it has helped massively with ensuring no accidents. You can hear the noise around the house.

When the cat got run over, we keft the cat flap open just for this purpose and cheaper 4han the special bells that you can get.
