Hi everyone! I have an intro meeting tomorrow afternoon for a local doggie play group. It is the same one Rachael uses for Obi. I'm so excited but suddenly feel like I'm applying for my child to attend the best private school ever. Lol I'm really nervous. Never done this before. Just curious am I the only crazy person out there getting nervous about sending my pup to play group? Do play groups have expectations? Will they turn me down if she doesn't behave perfectly? Haha I'm so daft! But I really am nervous.

I felt similar the first time I went to puppy school.

Would he pee in class? (Yes)
Would he be over boisterous and scare small puppies? (Yes)
Would he completely ignore me when all the other owners were showing off how attentive and intelligent their little ones are? (Yes)
    And so on....

    ;D ;D ;D

Just tell yourself you own a labrador - it's not your fault! ;D ;D ;D

    Oh god yes!

Also I was ridiculously over-protective / felt guilty at leaving him in Doggy Day Care for the first time. Do you know that scene in 'Peter's Friends' with the over-protective parents? That was me, that was... ::)

I'm sure they are worse than babies for bringing out irrational behaviour in us...

Haha. Thanks guys. You always make me feel better. I know she is going to love it. I also just found out that another black lab the same age has also joined the group so she should be in good company ;D

She will have a ball :) They look after the dogs really well. Can't wait till she starts and then I can look out for her pics on facebook too!

Which days are you planning on having her do playgroup? Obi did playgroup today and has another one tomorrow. Milly will be in the Northside group though while we're in Southside, so they probably won't meet up often - but now and then they do combine the groups :D

She will be Thursdays. I think that's the only day they do here. Well that was the only day offered to me. But that works fine anyway.
