Do your puppies get more excited at different times in the day? Mine (almost 13 weeks old) is more excited in the morning when he wakes up but much more so at the "witching hour" which would be the evening for me.
He goes absolutely crazy in the early evening.....flying around like a lunatic, biting, getting all his toys out of his box and so on. Just wonder if it is only mine or if it is "normal"??? Thanks.
    I just loooooove the Forum!

From what I can remember Meg was like that all the time. Just used to drop off for 20 - 30 minutes, wake up and then start again. :) :)

Yes definitely! Ruby (11wks) goes nuts around 5-6pm. She starts with some tail chasing which develops into racing like a race horse in circuits around the garden, the kids roar with laughter ;D

I think it's over-tiredness, akin to a toddler's meltdown just before bedtime. :). Very common in young puppies, I remember it well!

Yep same here we used to have a mad half hour of sprinting round the house, grabbing everything that wasn't nailed down and general mayhem ....then he'd collapse in a heap or go and sit looking out the back door longing to be allowed to go outside to dig up pebbles!x

Edsel has 2 episodes of psychotic behavior each day, first thing in the morning and as soon as I finish work for the day. He has had some of his most destructive and wild episodes in the evening when I am often too tired to argue and just sit and watch the show!

Yes we had 'happy hour' between 7 and 8 each evening. It still occasionally happens but isn't a regular event now, thank goodness. I think it stopped around 6 months.
