I have just discovered that there are a pack of Bloodhounds (www.southdownsbloodhounds.com) which hunt humans for fun. I recall many years ago that there was a similar pack of hounds in Germany which received adverse publicity because it was organised by the aristocracy to hunt soldiers! Whilst Labradors are not pack animals they do have a highly developed sense of smell which surely can be trained to track sweaty humans?

Do they tear the humans limb from limb when they catch them
Actually, I think it sounds fun, better than hunting animals. (Vegie!)

Reminds me of that lovely Nancy Mitford book, Love in a Cold Climate, where the father used to hunt his children with his bloodhounds! (As a gameā€¦)

A handsome dog indeed and a brilliant job; it must be rewarding to be a handler.
