The snow was one thing but our lab Harry bouncy as ever cut his leg whilst playing in the field, trip to vets for stitches ( do you know how much stitches cost these days!?! ) and then back again today as his bandage decided to go walkies Not only did he have a nasty cut from his paw pad past his dew claw but it also nicked a small artery. And after all that, what caused it? an old bramble stalk sticking up out the ground just sharp enough and pointy enough to do the damage. One sulking lab now as not allowed out without a plastic bag on his foot and exercise limited. ??? I now feel shattered and in need of an extra weekend haha
