Which is the best worming product for my puppy? Want to cover lungworms too which is usually separate isn't it?
Re: Worming Would be best asking at your veterinary practice, just pop in and ask the nurses for advice, or even just phone up. However, worming medication is best bought from a vet.
Re: Worming My vet gives us panacur. It covers lungworm. I would definitely go to the vets for it so you can weigh too. I don't think you can buy panacur at normal shops anyway.
Re: Worming All prescribed by the vet, Charlie gets Advocate monthly, plus drontal (for tapeworm) every 3 to 6 months. It does depend on what your dog needs and your vet will know the local risks - for example, how worried you need be about lungworm where you live. Advocate covers both ear mites and lungworm which are important for my dog, ear mites even more than lungworm as we've had quite a few ear problems.
