Ok how does one exercise ones dog? {and I don't mean in the spiritual demon possession kinda way} She cant go on concrete, she is now not allowed to run on grass and the swimming pool isn't open on a Monday or a Tuesday. There are only so many times a day one can play tug of war with a tatty blanket before we both get either bored, blisters or said tatty blanket becomes small tatty rags.
Any suggestions would be fabulously appreciated please by both Scout and I. ;D ;D

What about wrapping up small treats in layers of paper pass-the-parcel style - messy but fun.
Or just simple inside training - up and down sits and stays. Short retrieves.
Or "find the dummy/bunny/toy" after you have hidden it in another room?

How about throwing a handful of kibble on the grass and letting her search for it.

You could also try frozen peas (which Molly loves). It takes them even longer to find them.

You must both be very frustrated.

I sometimes hide small piles of kibble in different rooms to let Charlie find them, it's a good hunting game and training too :D

We play hide and seek in the house :)
Also kongs are a fab time killer, or wrap her food in lots of layers of paper/cardboard?

Heidrun, thanks for the 101 box link; I have saved it.

I am sorry that I don't have any ideas to contribute :-[
