Well tomorrow I have decided to let Rocky off the lead and I'm just praying he comes back to me. I have been practising on my back garden and he does well but out in a public place is totally different and nerve wracking.

Good luck :) I'm sure you will be fine ;)
I took my daughter with me the first time and we played by calling her from one to the other with treats and praise when she reached each of us :)

It will be all good! This week at our puppy training there was two new pups who had not been off the lead....the owners we really worried about letting them off (the classes are in a large wooded area), but the pups stayed really close to them and there was no problem at all. Have fun! :)

Good Luck with it. The first time you let them off the lead is terrifying, but I@m sure you've practiced plenty.

I met an 11 week old spaniel in the woods this morning with her big sister lab. She had had her 2nd jab a few days a go and this was her first "big walk" Sticking to mum like glue, turning circles in spaniel-excitement.
It was actually really lovely to see.
Hope your session has been as successful :)

Well I don't know what I was worrying over, got up at 7am and was an amazingly huge park by 7.20 am we let Rocky off lead and was running from one to the other as we called him, then my husband ran off and Rocky ran after him we all really enjoyed it and Rocky was completely worn out when we got back to the car bless him. :)

Well done. You have to be brave. I was on the same boat, now at 17 weeks she's still coming back and never wanders far. Keep up the great work :)
