my lab came in season in march at 9 months old we are trying to find out if as she is only just a year old if she would be in season again in 6months or if it might be irregular at first i have not had a bitch that was not spayed before
Re: seasons Hello there I don't think your question is very clear (that's maybe why you haven't got many replies - although not having owned a bitch, I can't help anyway ). Are you asking how often a young bitch might come into season?
Re: seasons I think the average is generally every six months however it is different for every dog. My mum's little yorkie has seasons every nine months that started at six months of age, and my lab had her first season at eight months old but had a season every 14weeks.
Re: seasons yes i mean is it likely to be 6months after her first season or maybe not regular untill she is a little older
