Thank you Julie. Thank you Lisa.

We had a squeal this afternoon unfortunately when Scout tried to get his mouth around Scott's neck ! ::). It freaks him out because I think he thinks Scott has caused the pain so he gets a bit nervy with him.

I can see how those electrice shock collars work now. The poor dogs must be very confused about where the pain is coming from. :-\

Of course it's got me worrying again but I know it won't get better overnight it will take a few days. :(

Thank you Kate and Helen. :)

As long as he doesn't go worse I ll give it until Monday. The thought of going to the vet makes my stomach churn because they get so stressed.

I will keep my fingers crossed tonight that he's a little bit better tomorrow. :-\

Poor man. Does sound like a vet needs to be involved, unfortunately :(

So stressful, I know. Hope sharing it here helps a bit.

Oh no. A home visit? Then you can control and plan the environment? Are there safe drugs (sedation) which could be given before the vet arrives?

Just thinking - you've done so well lately, anything that might make it easier for you and Scout.

    Re: Oh Scout

Thank you all very much. :)

We are currently on jaw rest !!!! I've to try not to let him pick up or do anything that will stretch his jaw !!! As you will all know because you have Labradors easier said than done. He is being very sensible though.

The poor pup is desperate for his ball though. When I let them loose after a walk he races to where his ball should be then races back looking confused. :-\ As a positive we are doing lots more recall practise.

Just have to keep my fingers crossed there is some obvious improvement by Friday. I keep trying to catch him yawning and mentally trying to measure how wide his mouth is. Of course he's very good at doing it behind my back. ::)

Scout grabbed Scott's neck ths morning yippee ;D

You may think that is a stange response but he hasn't done that since last week when he first hurt his mouth and squealed when he did it. He has been avoiding rough play all week this morning he instigated it. ;D. I stopped it just incase.

His yawn has gradually been getting wider aswell since Tuesday so fingers crossed ::)
