Was just wanting to know when Rocky who is just over 3 months will be able to climb stairs I only ask this as my mom will be looking after him while we are away and she lives in a top floor flat with 2 flights of stairs I really don't think she can carry him, he's getting big now.

I've never seen too much of a problem with allowing them to climb stairs, as long as they aren't racing up and down them all day long! If she keeps him on a lead whilst doing it that will help him to take them at a slow pace too.

Occasional flights of stairs shouldn't be a problem. Just do it gently.

Very odd. My Charlie has suddenly decided that he won't climb the outside steps to the veg garden. Which I'm not too fussed about, as it means he doesn't snaffle all the soft fruit. He is fine with all other steps and stairs, just not this particular set. Although they have been strictly out of bounds until now (a bit steep while he was recovering) so maybe his ability to climb them has become extinct! ::)

Sometimes I wonder what goes on in their furry minds...
