I have found a cure for an over-licky lab, hurrah! Bitter apple on backs of hands, arms and feet. It's not sticky, doesn't smell and it worked instantly - Tatze only licks my nose when requested now. I keep my palms clear of it so that I can give treats, cook food etc. The cure took about 30 seconds, now I can be as silly as I like with her - she will not lick! Hurrah hurrah!!
Re: Over licky lab - a cure Oh but she is so beautiful!! Do I detect a slightly crazy look in her eyes in that photo? Looks like she is about to pounce! ;D
Re: Over licky lab - a cure Good going! Charlie licks everyone, at every opportunity. I do warn people, it never stops them playing with him (the first time anyway). Maybe I should include "cover yourself in bitter apple spray" in my options (currently play with my dog and get licked, or don't play with my dog). ;D ;D ;D
Re: Over licky lab - a cure My brother is coming to stay tonight, I will be spraying his feet as he walks in the door! hehe! ;D
Re: Over licky lab - a cure Beautiful picture mags. That's a good tip. Scott licks none stop if he can. The only way to avoid it is if he is carrying something so all family visitors know to come in and tell him to get his rope. He's just sneakily licked my sister's feet in flip flops on his way passed. I told him no you don't know where they've been.
Re: Over licky lab - a cure She is so cute personally I don't mind kisses, as long as they aren't on or around my mouth
