On the way back from Charlie's walk today he always stops for a dip in the river, but today he went in and froze on the spot and kept looking in the same spot then in slow motion he backed up the bank without taking his eyes of whatever he could see that David couldn't. Very strange, I wonder what it was that had him so worried poor boy ? :-\ x
Re: Something Odd in the River Fish? Eel? I hope he feels comfortable to have a swim next time, poor lad.
Re: Something Odd in the River Could have been anything really Helen, nothing sinister, just something he's unfamiliar with ?they can be funny sometimes can't they? X
Re: Something Odd in the River Maybe he saw his reflection? Penny used to get totally freaked out when she caught sight of herself in the small mirrored frame type thing around our electric fireplace I know one of my dogs from the kennels absolutely loves looking at his reflection! His adopters told me that when he gets the chance he will just run upstairs and go and look at himself in their mirror!!
Re: Something Odd in the River Oh Helen, after the other "odd things" that have been found in rivers and fields, I feel quite relieved you DIDN'T see anything - was feeling quite anxious when I read the title of your thread
Re: Something Odd in the River I really don't know, not his reflection as he was focused on the otherside up the bank. Doubt it's Eels and only ever seen the tiniest little Fish and not often. Maybe a Snake on the grass? Jac, just grateful there were no bones The river is not deep enough at this time of the year for a swim so hopefully it won't have put him off Rachael. We'll see how he goes today. Thanks for all the suggestions x
Re: Something Odd in the River Could have been a fish jumping Helen , or just movement from floating wood ? Those moments make you go cold though , wondering what they have seen
