@Oberon I'm wondering whether anyone would use black felt pen to blacken the pink nose for the show ring? It will be interesting to see if Daisys...
My Daisy is yellow with a brown nose. It was black until about 16 weeks and has gradually gone pinky brown. I didn't think she was a Dudley...
I've got 3 kids (including 2 teenagers) and am I am finding enormous cross over between parenting and puppy raising. Mainly- ignore the bad and...
Thanks JulieT. We will give that a go. It sounds a lot better than other suggestion about the knee
How do I stop other dogs jumping up on my 9 year old? Obviously now we have a dog, we go to lots of dog friendly places (dog beach, dog park,...
Hi no I haven't tried hot sauce. Might give it a go. All the other sprays are bitter rather than hot- and they don't bother her at all. We...
That seems to be what Daisy does. I've been watching her like a hawk since she shredded the kennel and no splinter seems to have caused an issue....
Thanks Oberon Yes I think that might be best. Surveying the damage its hard to see how she hasn't got splinters in her mouth
:(:(I'm getting to my wits end with Daisy (7 month) chewing timber outside. Here's the background: she goes to dog day care on the 2 days I work....
Hi just wanted to add my sympathy. And let you know I've guiltily resorted to a Halti head harness for our 7 month old lab as I've had shoulder...
She's 16 kg. Just got too big for me to pick up - but I'm recovering from shoulder surgery. Husband bolted down beach to save her the second time...
We've increasingly been taking Daisy (5 months) to the beach for some off lead walks. Today she was chased and bitten (no skin breaks) by small...
We have recently gone through this. We were novices so it was unexpected and distressing! But then it just ..... stopped!! She is 5 months now and...
I voted yes. My Daisy snaffles up possum poo (Australian delicacy) on every walk. Only a muzzle would stop this as is is everywhere on all our...
Thank you for this - it's very heartening! Daisy is a nightmare around other dogs and I can see we have heaps of work ahead. Balancing the right...
I posted recently about our issues with Daisy now 16.5 weeks. Things have greatly improved in last week or 2. We have never restricted her water...
I think this is exactly what happened today - distraction. But thanks for the tip on the food reward. I had noticed that she seemed to do 2-3...
What a gorgeous puppy and photo! I'm sure Daisy would spend all day playing with a bell like this
Daisy is 16 weeks and goes all night in crate with no soiling. During the day she is 95% house trained. It's the 5% not that I'm concerned about....
I can't comment on when it ends but this is us with 15 week old Daisy too. I think I catch about 20% of items with a 'leave it' but the rest.......
