Jub-Jub has had loose stools for about a week now, eating normal, tons of energy. We took him to the vet yesterday and they did did fecal sample, no parasites or other issues showing, no fever, etc. He is now on GI wet food for 4 days and an anti-diarrhea medication for 5 days. Does anyone have any advice or did they have anything similar? He also lost 1.5lbs over a week. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Hi we did have the same experience with our Hailey when she was a young puppy. Checked out by vet ,stool sample negative, no other signs of illness. Meds worked well. Not sure what caused it(? change in water, stress if new home?) It was worrying but resolved quickly Good you had her checked out
