I have a 12 week old Labrador/great Pyrenees puppy who has started scratching and biting a lot. We have had her for almost three weeks. When we first brought her home she wasn’t scratching/biting like this. We switched her puppy food from Purina puppy chow to Authority chicken and rice. I am thinking it is the puppy food and was wondering if it would affect her if I slowly switched back to purina puppy chow. The rescue we got her from did not give her the first shot until we picked her up so she is a little behind on shots and I really don’t want to take her to the vet unless I have to for fear of her getting parvo. She does go out into our backyard which has some weeds growing so I’m not sure if that is it either. I gave her a bath last night but that didn’t seem to help much. Any advice would be appreciated.
