    Hi all,

My loving Molly is 14 and will be 15 in November. She does have arthritis in her hind legs with weakness and stiffness and muscle waste in her rear section. She does poo in the house now and is not even aware of it until after or right when it is happening. She still eats well. She still has some energy left in her too but gets tired more easily. She just started this new thing of wanting to eats rocks, she has never done this. Has anyone ever had experience with this? Thanks.

Hi Molly's Mom. It sounds like it's time for a full vet check for Molly, if she hasn't had one since this new behavior started. Dogs, like people, can sadly suffer cognitive decline as they get older. Your vet can check for other causes of her symptoms, and advise you on how best to support her. It's so hard watching our pups get old - so please do know that we're here to listen, if you'd like some support for yourself. ❤️
