We adopted Lewis on February 7, 2020. Tall, pure-bred yellow lab that weighs 83 lbs. Lewis is the third lab of our old age. My husband and I are in our early 70’s. Lewis is an amazing dog, but he needs some behavior modification. Starting next week we have a professional dog trainer coming to our house for individual lessons. Very friendly but sounds ferocious. He has been to doggie day care twice to familiarize him with other people and dogs. Now when he’s out he’s overly friendly with other dogs which tends to alarm other dog owners! I found this site when I searched on yellow labs with dark skin, and decided it would be helpful for both Lewis and me!
