Well time for Juno's second shampoo this morning for her irritated skin. What a little star she was :). walked happily up the stairs with me and into the bathroom. Stayed calm when OH picked her up to put her in the bath and then just stood while I rinsed and shampooed - well she did get a couple of treats when being picked up and being put in the bath :D. After the 2nd shampoo, which has to be left on she very calmly stood in the bath for a few treats, the we did a few "leave" for a treat at which point she sat down in the bath :D. Finished with a lovely warm rinse, up and out of the bath and a nice rub dry with a towel before walking calmly down the stairs again to receive a gravy bone for being such a good girl :D:D:D

What a star Juno! impeccable behaviour, very well done. She'll be feeling the benefit too I'll bet.

Juno's skin in the infected area is looking really good so hoping that the antibiotics and the shampooing has done the trick. Still got another 10 days of antibiotics to go so fingers crossed :)

I was just wondering has Juno's skin irritation cleared up now.

Pilatelover Thank you for asking, that's very thoughtful. It had cleared up although I think she's got a couple of red spots appearing which I'm keeping an eye on at the moment but there's inflammation around them so it could just be where she's run through the long grass. Watch this space

Bless Juno, glad it appears to be nothing too serious, could be the long grass. Mabel had a few spots back in the late spring when she was running free. There's some horrible little bugs about.

We've got so many huge nettles and thistles this year it could be where she's brushed past. I'm sure I sorry more about Juno than I did my kids ;):D
