Hey all! So I have a 3 month labrastaff named Zoey..and recently she's been finding interest under my bed. As far as I can tell, she's not chewing anything up under there and she's not exactly hiding/in fear. It's pretty warm outside which makes my room fairly warm even with the fan on. I believe she's trying to stay cool where there's more "shade" under my bed because she'll eventually come out if i call for her with a treat. I was just wondering if it's safe/alright to continue allowing her to stay under there?
Hi and welcome, from myself and Mason chocolate Labrador puppy well nearly 1 I don’t see much wrong I think it’s very sweet and maybe when she grows she might take residency beside or at the end of your bed
Hi and welcome,I have an 18 week old choc lab puppy and she loves to hide under my bed and has done from when we got her at 8 weeks. When she's tired, hot or pinched something that she shouldn't have! She likes it because it's tucked away and safe I think, however she is growing fast and very soon she won't fit under there! Not sure where she'll hide then, lol.
I would be very worried if a pup retreated under the bed. I would he concerned about her confidence and her lack of ability to cope with normal surroundings. I would keep encouraging her out with food and praise and try to find out what was making feel being under a bed is preferable to being out and about a n the house.
