Hi, hoping someone can help, our 3 year old lab developed a limp on his front right leg a few weeks before Xmas, the vet has done full x rays on both legs from shoulders down to paws and nothing showed up. They gave him painkillers, the first lot didn't agree with him and the second lot did nothing. He is fine when out on a walk and can run around with no problem or limp, it only happens when he has been sleeping/resting and gets up and he then limps badly, once he is up and about again he is fine. It seems to us that it is possibly muscle problem, has anyone else had anything like this and does anything help. We will be taking him back to vets next week but wanted to ask, thanks
Hi Lesley - I can't really help you with your problem but just wanted to say that it's good that the xrays are clear and I hope your dog recovers soon and that it is nothing serious. Let us know what the vet says. And welcome to the forum
