    Hi All,

My name is Kenya and I rescued a 4-year Black lab named Perry about a month ago. He was found in April by local county animal welfare and no one claimed him. A lab rescue took him in in June and I adopted from the lab rescue in early August. He's house trained, walks on a leash (when he's not being lazy) and is good a doggie daycare. He's very nervous of people though. I live near my family so I want him to eventually be comfortable with him. Any tips and tricks would be helpful. I've had a few people say put him in his crate a little before people come over, then let him out when people are settled. I know things are early so I also need to give him time. Thanks in advance for any advice!
