Tell us a bit more if you can. Which leg and how severe ? Is he touching the toe to ground or holding it up most of the time ? Labs are tough and usually hide their pain, they will work on a damaged leg just to please their owner so please give more details and tell us the signs and symptoms. Someone here has probably experience the same and can help you but it’s best you get the Veteranarian to see him ASAP That’s only way know for sure. You might be causing more damage that will be more expensive later to rectify. Hope all ends well.

I agree with @Johnny Walker , best to get him checked out. Usually delaying a vet visit costs more in the long run. He may not need x-rays - a good vet can tell a lot by watching your dog walk and manipulating his leg. A vet can also advise you if a specific rest protocol is needed, for example a week or more of on-leash only or otherwise restricted activity. Hope you get good news at the vet and your pup feels better!

Hi there, try not to panic, a limp usually means just a pulled muscle or similar... HOWEVER, you must take him to the vet to have this checked out. Ignoring it could make the situation much worse.

We are learning all the time with out pups, don't feel bad. We changed Maxx's food too quickly and he got quite sick and we felt like the worst humans on the planet. Everyone has been there

70 pounds is very heavy for a six month old though... Good thing you had him checked by the vet. And yes, puppy food for large breeds will make sure he doesn't grow too fast, which is important as that can lead to joint damage.

Sounds like a trip back to the vet is needed. We are going back tomorrow for exactly the same reason. Hope he’s ok.

Neither. She is 4.5 years old. We aren’t sure what’s going on as she is very fit and fully grown.

Back to the vet, have his weight checked again, you may need more rest and anti-inflammatories or the vet may recommend an x-ray. Is he having problems on his hind or forelimbs?
