Our dog has been having seizures and was put on phenobarbital. The seizures have stopped but he is a mess! We are starting into week 3 and have adjusted the dose for the 2nd time the vet wants him on 1/2 the dose at night and a full dose in the morning. His current status is drooling, no activity, just lays , can barely get him to go outside. Now he doesn’t want to eat. The first two weeks he ate and drank fine. Blood test showed liver enzymes up and thyroid activity none. Vet said should improve with lower dose. Loosing my mind. Any suggestions? Any experience’s you would like to share would be welcomed!
