Collected 8 week old Bryn from the breeder on Friday and after a few difficult nights we're starting to get into a routine. The crying stopped after 2-3 nights and we are getting up once at around 3am to let him out for a wee. Then up again at about 5.45. Tonight we'll try to stretch it to 3am and 6am.

We've been out and about meeting friends dogs and as many people as possible which has been great fun. Looking forward to being able to put him on the floor! We've also been clicker training his name, sit, take food nicely and walk to heel... some small progress made on those... amazing how quickly he can pick things up. Anyway, a few photos...

It's just a thought, but did you know that you can take well behaved dogs on the Cardiff park & ride? We took Holly on it a few times as part of her socialising. Holly and I waited on a bench in the city centre while OH did some shopping. It was great experience with the buskers, roundabout and all those people.

Wow, that's great, well done! I think I may have to do the pub on my own but I have ear marked tomorrow . Also haven't started clicker training yet. But it sounds like all is well for you and your pup :)

Good suggestion, thanks! We'll do that and maybe a short train ride into town next week I think. This week we have been the village train station to see trains / commuters / cars but no rides yet! Yesterday we had a few mins on Cowbridge Road which is enough to scare anyone ;-) next week have a car-boot sale and cardiff food festival planned :)
