    Hi all,

Me and my partner have recently had a 9 week old red labrador puppy named buddy.

All is going well and he's settling in really well.

We are beginning to slowly introduce a new food and mixing it in with the one the breeder gave us, 3/1 ratio at the moment with it mostly being the old food.

Buddies stools have become rather soft the past few days and he's only weighing 5.3 kg but looks healthy.

    Anything to worry about?

As hard as I tried to make the transition slow, Rusty still had diarrhea while i switched his food over. You probably don't have to worry about soft stools.
As for the weight thing... https://thelabradorforum.com/threads/how-much-does-your-puppy-weigh.5888/ this should calm any concerns about weight. 5.3 at 9 weeks is fine. Get him weighed again in 2 weeks and he will probably be 7-8kg.
