Hi all, Jessie came into her first season 8th May and we restarted our dog training classes last Wednesday (after 26 days) with no issues, however I have noticed that Jessie is still attracting quite a lot of male interest when out and about, to the point where the (new) dog walker today really noticed some of her males were taking more than just an interest! Its now 33 days since the first day of her season, is it normal for the scent from a season to linger so long? Look forward to your views!

Hi there, yes in my experience it can take quite a while for the interesting scents to go away fully! I expect though that you notice that she will not tolerate males trying to mount her at this point.

Give her a bath or take for good swimming :)
Swimming usually sorts my Shelby's problem with unwanted boys ;)

Definitely normal , my girl was not " safe " for almost five weeks , I guess they all differ, just like human ladies

I found that by giving Harley a bath it helped as the scent can linger.

Thank you, I think a 'wash' is in order!
