Looking for advice on the pros and cons of getting a new lab pup, our lovely Lucy is 7 years, unsure how she would react to new member of the family
Lucy probably won't be impressed, but as long as you have a space for her where she can't be hassled by the pup she will be fine. My 7yr old dog coped with a pup 3yrs ago now loves our 3mth old. It usually takes a few weeks for the older dog to accept them.
