    Re: agression

Harley (now 1) used to get really excited when my nephew came round (he's 4). She used to try and take everything he had in his hands off him.....I put her on a long line and controlled her behaviour around him. I rewarded her calm behaviour around him and always took things off her that she took from my nephew. I don't think it's aggression, just excitement ::) milo is very young and it will take time, but insist on all paws on the floor and teach the 'leave it' command.
Harley us now really good when Logan comes round :)
    Good luck

Hi Chrissie. I guess he is just a baby and doesn't know right from wrong (yet).
Its important to teach your dog to leave things, be that dummies, dead rabbits, your lovingly made sandwich......
This article about teaching your dog not to touch or climb on things might be of use.
And there are a few threads bout "leave it" such as this one
I can't say we are wonderful at leaving things when outside, but we are good in the house. We taught house leave it by teaching our girl when she was really young to wait for her food in her bowl until told "on you go". We did this with 2 people, one gently holding Lilly and the other preparing food, putting it down, and giving the "on you go" command whilst releasing her to eat.
I'm not sure if this helps. Remember your pup IS really young, and has a lot to learn from you about good behaviour :)

(Naya beat me to this, but hope this still helps)

Hi there Chrissie, this is not aggressive behaviour, but normal puppy playing behaviour. Remember he is still a tiny baby. Also, I am sure you didnt, but don't leave Milo alone with your grandson, even for a minute, as he will growl and snap during his playing without realizing he isn't supposed to. Don't worry, it's all quite normal, and he will grow out of it in a few months, but during this time you need to be extra vigilant.
