My girl is home and tucked up in her bed. Managed a little tail wag for me. Then got in her bed and is fast asleep.

Would it be a good idea for me to sleep with her tonight? Asked hubby to blow up a camping bed for me!

Hi Jade, glad your girl is safe. Bless her, wagging her tail. I must admit I slept with meg when she was spayed years ago, I didn't sleep much but she did! Just made me feel better knowing that I was there. Hubby didn't sleep well either, he kept coming in and checking. She bounced back very quickly as well. Vet said she wouldn't want to eat that night but she could have some chicken if she wanted it and she did. :)

So glad she is home and all went well :). I know when Harley gets done I will be sleeping with her, or hubby will be carrying her up to our bed ;)

Glad she's home and well :)

I'd probably sleep with her otherwise I'd be twitching at every little sound ::)

My vet keeps them in overnight when they have a spay. So I was saved this dilemma.

Picked Molly up this afternoon. Wish she would realise she's had major surgery and stop jumping and counter cruising, every time she does it I feel guilty.

Glad things went well for you Jade.

Thank you. I hope you get some rest tonight!

My bed is set up in the hall next to the kitchen where her create is.

My boys keep asking why is she so sleepy.

Does Molly look really thin now? Amy does!

I'm a day ahead of you Jade so this should make you feel better.

Molly isn't even walking like someone who has had major surgery.

She has pinched the kitchen roll off the work surface and I've had to chase her to get it back.

She is eating and pooing normally.

She has jumped clear off the ground a couple of times and doesn't even seem to notice it, it is me that is doing the wincing.

She is leaving the wound alone so no Buster Collar.

The only way that you can readily tell that she' shad surgery is her shaved tum.

We just call her Baldy Belly.

Hope this helps you to have a good night' sleep 'cos you'll need it come the morning

5:22am....she has been unsettled for a few hours now. Wouldn't say in pain, think it's the the change in routine.

Hope she is alright. A change and a vet visit can definitely make them unsettled.

The vets didn't give us any extra pain relief. They said to ring for some if we need it. How do I know if she is in pain enough to need some more? She is still whiny now but is walking around and moving.

Hubby picked her up, I think I would have asked for it yesterday. Now I need to leave her to go and collect it.
