I have tried all sorts of sprays etc to stop Bouncer chewing stuff, all to no avail, he seems to be imune.

I read on another post about a "chilli" anti chew liquid.

I got a 1 liter kilner jar, filled it 3/4 full, got a whole bunch of hot fresh green chilli's, chopped them up & droped them in. Then added 3 teaspoons of hot chilli powder & a few teaspoons of pepper. Left it to marinade for a week then opened it up. My word it was pungent stuff. "This will do the trick" I thought & sprayed it on Bouncers favorite chew target (my footstool).

He sniffed it, then licked all the chilli concoction off it, licked his lips, then started to chew.

I think I need some Labrador kryptonite as Bouncer is imune to all know chew treatments. ???

Think I might have mentioned somewhere that Labradors like chilli ;)

Sounds like you've got yourself a fine, home-made Louisiana Hot Sauce though ;)

Welcome to my world..... (Hate to tell you this, but Molly's nearly a year older than Bouncer and I've yet to find an answer.)

We use Vicks Vapour Rub - they HATE it, just the smell puts them off :)

Tabasco sauce worked for us when it was freshly applied - Mira would recoil and sneeze! Next day she would lick it off ::)

Everything we tried failed. Good luck - vigilance and time will solve the problem - eventually. ;D

You don't want to chew that try this and hand them a toy has worked for Elsie, she is pretty good these days. I did buy some stuff from petsathome to spray on the furniture but she liked it and Betty started licking it too, and we had stopped her chewing over a year before !
