When we were staying with friends at the weekend, I went out with their dog, Annie (litter mate to mine) a few times. She's a lovely little thing, but has a peculiar habit of cocking her leg!!! It's definitely scent marking - she squats like a lady should for regular wees, but when she finds a bush or post she likes the smell of, she cocks! It made me laugh so much, and I wondered if there were any other ladettes on the forum that did the same?
Yep, I've had several foster dogs (females) that do this. Usually very dominant girls who want to make sure all the neighbourhood dogs know who is QUEEN!
Dominant is one thing she's not. She's happy-go-lucky and would bully Willow when we got together until recently (I only just realised that we didn't have any of that this weekend), but she's not that interested in other dogs, and is submissive when they approach her. She's really sweet, and teeny tiny
