Hello As title asks....Any home brewers here? Does you dog enjoy brew day as much as my old Ringo did? Do you give him spent grain from the mash tun? I posted a "Beer Treat recipe in the Recipe forum http://thelabradorforum.com/threads/beer-treats-not-made-with-beer.13860/ Lets talk some brewing and dogs
I don't produce beer but me and hubby are keen consumers of craft beer. What styles do you make? Off to look at your beer treats thread!!
Sorry no home brew either. I love the fact that the spent grain from the whisky distilleries (non alcoholic) are sold to farmers for their cows. I love a good distillery visit
I used to be a home brewer, but since the Micro Revolution, I've been letting other people brew beer for me. Some of you may know that one of Portland's nick names is Beervana. We have more breweries than any other city in the world. The Pacific NW is famous for very hoppy IPAs. Lots of doubles and even triples, with hops often above 80 IBUs. I think Cooper may be the first dog I've owned that actually likes Beer. She hasn't really had any but she tries, and does lick empty glasses. All my other dogs have been absolute teetotalers.
