My lab heeler mix. Is 50 pounds at 80 months. Which is smaller than your usual lab, but just a tad bigger than your average heeler. Will she reach 60 pounds by a year old? Or will she stay the same?
Aww she's a beauty. I honestly have no idea. It's possible that she won't get much bigger I guess. At almost a year old she could be pretty much full grown. I'm having the same question about our puppy. Lincoln is a Lab mix @ 7 months old and currently weighs 36.5 pounds. I'm hoping he at least gets to 50... He's already 22 inches at the shoulder but very lanky.
What a cutie! Mixes tend to fall anywhere between the biggest and smallest size of the parents' breed - which I'm aware isn't very helpful Most Labs are fully grown at 18 months, but I'm not sure of the average for Heelers. You can find lots of information on general Lab growth here, which might be of interest!
Thankk you. She did have a growth spirt shes taller now haha. Plus she hasnt like had her first heat yet so who knows
I guess I'll have to wait and see. He'll probably be full grown about a year old. Well according to the DNA test it said Lab , Beagle , Border Collie , Feist , Foxhound and Whippet. Nevertheless he's a beautiful puppy and perfect no matter what..
