Hi everyone! Hope you are all well. Its been 6 months since my dear Lucius passed away from pancreatitis. I spent two months lost, wondering whether I would want another dog again. My family tried persuading me to get another dog, but I didnt think I was ready. My beagle, Pup, was still grieving and I worried he might not be ready either. I'd looked up on a couple of breeders nearby, just to see if anything caught my eye. And, honestly nothing did until my nan spotted a litter of labradoodle puppies. Now, I'd seen this litter a few times but wasnt sure if I wanted to travel too far for a puppy and had found a litter closer to me but after a look at the pictures I finally caved in and contacted the breeder, just to chat. She really wanted what was best for the puppies and asked me lots of questions (how long would puppy be home alone, was I aware puppy might need regular grooming etc?) and I asked lots in return and eventually i decided I would go and see them. One puppy in particular stood out. I saw this little black furball and just couldnt get her out of my head! (I had thought she was a boy because she was wearing a blue collar . I had a name in my head ("Oh he looks like a bear! Like Baloo from junglebook) and then found she was a girl! But the name stuck and now little Baloo is home with us and loving life! its been a little while since we got her but the funny thing was that her birthday was the day lucius got sick (3rd of feb). And she is so like him in many ways but still has her personality all of her own! Such a fiesty little girl and we are all in love.
